There is this saying that has become famous inside of the freethought community that: "trying to bring Humanists, Atheists and Skeptics together is like trying to manage a herd of cats."
It is true actually. Our community is filled with many different people, with very different perspectives, from very different backgrounds. There is also a lot of people out there that would align themselves with our outlook, but don't really see any need to be part of an organization.
Regardless, our group tries to go against this prevailing wind. We attempt to give those that are passionate about secularism, science, and freethinking, a place to come together to talk, think and act. If you aren't yet a member of the HAO, here's an overview of how you can become one.
We have compiled this news aggregator to help everyone keep up with what is going on with freethought and Humanist groups everywhere.
