Monthly Meetings

The Humanist Association of Ottawa monthly meetings usually take the format of a presentation made by one of our members or a special guest speaker. The discussions usually address a topic of interest to do with Humanism, science, morality, politics or philosophy.

The presentations are usually about 1 hour long, followed by a question/answer session and refreshments. We are now recording the presentations and making them available for viewing after the fact. We tend to post the presentations on the HAO Blog a day or so after the meeting where: comments are made, and where topics for our next Unsermon are collected.

We hold our meetings at the YMCA at 180 Argyle Ave (Trillium Room). They are run jointly with the Centre for Inquiry Ontario(CFI).

The cost of the event is $1.00 for members of the Humanist Association of Ottawa or CFI, and $3.00 for non-members.
